I was interviewed for a couple of minutes this morning on The Weather Channel.

I shot the video below and posted it to YouTube and they contacted me for permission to air and interview me. 

Of course, during most of my brief interview, they aired the wrong video...

...but at least they spelled my name right!

Chicago Storms - June 30 & July 1, 2011

Not specifically travel related, but some wild lightning came through Chicagoland on June 30 followed by some of the strangest clouds on July 1.

You too had better watch out for the entrance ramp to the Kennedy Expressway at Adams Street here in Chicago. This tire quickly went to 0 PSI at 40+ MPH around 4 p.m.  I quickly got off and am now waiting at the dealership for a new tire.  It's the season of giving after all...
