Turns out that the show uses the actual Chicago City Council Chamber. I thought it was just a very good copy on the show, but I took a tour of City Hall on Sunday and it turns out that the Council scenes are actually shot here.

Walks around Chicago
Since May 15, I've been taking walks around the north side of Chicago with my iPhone in hand for exercise. As of August 30, 2012, according to a GPS app I've been using to track my walks, I've racked up over 300 miles. The photo mosaic below is made of some of the 2000+ photos I've taken on those walks. Strange site on the way to Disney's Hollywood Studios
About 10:15 a.m. this morning, while walking from Disney's BoardWalk to Disney's Hollywood Studios, I saw this strange "memorial" on the side of the canal.
